Hi there! I'm Kysanne, and for over 16 years, I've helped students build the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to improve and excel in Mathematics.
In 2010, I graduated with an Honours degree in Mathematics and Accounting and turned my passion for Mathematics and helping others into a tutoring business.
Since then, I've helped students achieve strong internal and external exam results, built lasting relationships with families, and earned recommendations from parents who trust me with their children's education. More than 16 years later, I'm still doing what I love: helping students grow in knowledge, confidence and ability.

Over the years, I have found that a student's success in Mathematics is shaped by three important factors: foundation, practice and consistency. This has led to the development of my "FPC approach" to teaching Mathematics. The aim of this is to provide students with the tools they need to build Foundation, get regular Practice and stay Consistent so that they can achieve real, sustainable progress in Mathematics. This approach has helped many of my students to achieve high grades in their Maths exams.
Foundation
Students with a solid foundation in basic Maths concepts are more likely to understand advanced topics and perform well in Maths.
Practice
Students who “put in the effort” by completing homework and assignments are more likely to retain concepts and improve.
Consistency
Students who show up consistently to classes, and actively participate in their learning are better positioned to excel.

From the outset, my personalised 1-to-1 tutoring service is designed to set students up for success. An initial assessment identifies gaps in their knowledge and areas for improvement, allowing me to tailor lessons to their individual needs, goals and learning pace.
All lessons are delivered online, giving students the flexibility to learn from anywhere while receiving the same high-quality, interactive teaching experience.
Students also receive access to their own private online course, where I provide additional resources and practice activities to reinforce learning and support their progress between sessions.

What age groups do you work with?
I work with students aged 7 and up, helping them prepare for school assessments and external examinations across various exam boards.
Do you offer tutoring to students worldwide?
Yes! I have worked with students across the Caribbean, the US and the UK, and I welcome applications from learners worldwide who are seeking personalised online Maths tutoring.
Do you accept every student?
Not always. After the application & assessment stage, I’ll determine whether my approach is the right fit and be honest if I don’t believe I’m the best person to help.
Is tutoring online only?
Yes. All lessons are delivered online, allowing students to learn conveniently from the comfort of home.
What equipment is required?
Students need a reliable internet connection, a computer or tablet, a quiet learning space, and a notebook with writing materials. A scientific calculator may also be required.
Will tutoring guarantee better grades?
While I can’t guarantee specific grades, I provide structured lessons and personalised support to strengthen mathematical understanding. Results depend on attendance, effort, consistency and regular practice.
How many sessions per week?
Most students benefit from at least two hours of tutoring per week. Following the initial assessment, I’ll recommend a suitable level of support based on the student’s needs and goals.
How much does tutoring cost?
Tutoring fees vary depending on each student’s needs and the level of support required. After the initial assessment, I’ll recommend a suitable tutoring plan and outline the associated costs.
How are payments made?
Payments are accepted by debit or credit card through secure payment providers. Bank transfer may also be available in some cases.
